Manliest TV shows

Lately, the stereotypes of men on television shows have been very immature. Although I appreciate the humor of "The Simpsons" I believe that Homer would be a bad role model for men in this modern era. Sitting on your fanny and watching sports while your wife does everything for you is not considered the least bit manly.
In other shows such as sitcoms, they manipulate women and consider this activity of bedding any dim-witted doll manly. This is the saddest of the forms of unmanliness as it degrades the act of chivalry towards women.
This is why I have created this list, which serves the purpose of entertaining a mans mind without losing any brain cells. Hopefully while watching these shows you will learn some lessons and care about the characters.
Starting with numero uno.

1. Mad Men

A popular show that examines the lives of advertising executives in the '60s. With a plot that makes you think and the historical wardrobe of the 1960's, you can't help but get mixed up in the mysterious, seductive world of business men. I like the character of Don Draper, who is dark and complex in his ways. He may even be the coolest character on television. Yet the manliest may still be...

2.Parks and Recreation

Sure the premise might not technically be manly. Its scary how much it resembles "The Office". Yet there is one character you may have heard of from this program. Ron Swanson. A libertarian who enjoys brunettes, breakfast foods, and hunting. He hates the government yet works for it in the Parks and Recreation section of the town of Pawnee. He may not be the main character of the show. Yet for thirty minutes a week you sould watch it, just for those 2 minutes of Ron Swanson awesome super mega explosion of masculine manliness.

3. Hell on Wheels

 Shady characters, horses, angry natives, and gun fights. How much more manly can you get. A western that follows a manly cowboy who's name will quickly escape you, that drops into a partying train construction town. The town, "Hell on Wheels" is full of out-laws, whore houses, and town drunks who create interesting stories within the town. A good show, if you ask me.

4. The Walking Dead

Focusing on how people deal with a zombie out break, the show strangely encompasses a large amount of drama instead of b-movie violence that is seen in most of the zombie movies and tv shows. The sherrif Rick Grimes is in a comma. He wakes up in a hospital and finds it completely trashed. Corpses surround him and he knows that he now must find his family. A gripping tale of what it means to be human, and when all else is gone what do you really live for.

5. Man Caves

When you here those two words mentioned you imagine some plump man eating pizza with his friends, playing the x-box on some 1000000 inch wide screen tv. This show will punch you in the nards repeatedly until you know what a real man cave is. Hosted by a ex-football player and a manly carpenter this show shows you how to build awesome theme man caves like a Corvette cave or a basketball cave. It shows you these things and tells you how to make them. Besides proffesional sports, this is a must watch show for any man.
